Originally from South Africa, Diane Makish has a background in makeup artistry started at the age of 15. Her work included commercial, editorial, print, shows, stock photography and bridal. She remains an active advisory board member of Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry. In 2000 Diane received her license in aesthetics and began to work in a clinical environment. Subsequently, she had the great fortune to mentor with one of the leading pioneers in the field of permanent makeup, Helene Friedberg MD. In 2006 she was proud to announce the opening of her own practice with Dr. Friedberg as medical director, About Face. Since then she has worked exclusively on refining the revolutionary process of permanent cosmetic enhancement. The large volume of procedures Diane has preformed gives her the experience it takes to produce results that has changed the lives of her clients from all over the world. She is also an expert in advanced corrective procedures. In October of 2009 it was her greatest accomplishment to announce her joining as the first micropigmentologist at the internationally renown Baumann Cosmetic & Research Institute.
